The 3DReid prize attracts entries from the UK’s top architecture schools and is judged by leading figures from the industry.
Tutors nominate each year’s top Part II
students for the competition and judges included RIBA president Jane Duncan and
Andrew Fullerton, head of design development at the BBC.
Matthew Webb, a Part II student,
impressed judges with his MArch design project The Kennermerland Visitor Centre and Conservation Laboratory in
the Netherlands. Matt was delighted to win the
competition. He said: “It has been an honour to be shortlisted for this award,
let alone come away as the winner. “I would like to thank everyone who has
supported me throughout my architectural education, and specifically my tutor Ben Cowd.”
